About Bandana Bandito
In 1989, our founder, Robert Hutchens, was running a highly successful wholesale produce business when he realized that he could make a better salsa than was currently on the market. With his wealth of knowledge, gathered from years in the produce business, he set about creating both a better salsa and a better salsa company and Bandana Bandito was born. Bob has been known as the Bandit ever since.
Founded in San Antonio in 1989, family-owned Bandana Bandito represents the finest in award-winning Tex/Mex cuisine with a wide assortment of traditional salsas, hot salsas and fruit salsas, sauces and marinades, medium and hot Bloody Mary mixes, Jalapeno and Habanero stuffed olives, and two fantastic mustards.
